Tarjeta masculina

Hola!

He hecho esta tarjeta para regalar dos botellas de vino a un hombre.

Hice dos, y al final se quedaron con esta. La semana que viene os pongo la otra opción.

Cartulina marrón, máscara de Tim Holz con Tinta Distres Marrón, sello masculino en negro, dos trozos de papel decorado con el sello gentleman, un troquel enmarcando el sello y dos trozos de washi tape imitando madera. Rápido y sencillo.

I made this card to give two bottles of wine to a man as a present.

I made two of them, but this is the one chosen. Next week I'll upload the other one.

Brown cardboar, Tim Holz mask with Brown Distress Ink, Masculine stamp in black, two scraps of decorated paper with the "Gentleman" stamp, a die-cut of a book plate and the pieces of washi tape imitating wood. Fast and simple.

Hola de nuevo!

Tengo mil fotos para subir pero nada de tiempo.
Espero poder subir todos mis encargos de estas fiestas en unos días. Me han pedido un montón de álbums de fotos!
Vamos con el primero:
Era para una parejita que quería algo romántico con tonos azules.
Me encanta el azul! Hay algunas páginas que me gustan un montón!
Y este ha sido mi primer encargo con fotos. Se hace mucho más fácil trabajar así. Las fotos te inspiran el contenido de las páginas por si solas.

I've got tons of pictures to upload but no time to do it.
In a few days, I hope to be able to upload all the pictures of the works I've made in Christmas.
Let's go with the first one:
It was for a couple who wanted something romantic in blue.
I love blue! There are some pages I like a lot!
This work was the first order I made with pictures included. It's a lot easier to work this way. Pictures inspired me the content of some pages by themself.

Estos troqueles de plumas son una de mis adquisiciones de Creativa Barcelona 2013

I chose papers with soft colours.

I bought these feathers die-cuts in Creativa Barcelona 2013 fair.

Página simple. Había algunas mariposas impresas, así que troquelé algunas más para decorar.

Simple page. There were some butterflies printed, so I cut some more to decorate.

La foto estaba muy llena, así que dejé el fondo más vacío.

The photo was a bit crowded, so I left the background underdecorated.

La foto de la izquierda es de un musical, por eso el motivo del piano y la partitura.

La foto en el bolsillo no tiene nada que ver, pero como Cesar tenía la misma pose que el cartel, la puse ahí.

The photo on the left is from a musical, that's the reason of the piano and the score.

The photo in the pocket has nothing to do with the other one, but Cesar had the same pose as in the musical, so I put them together.

Esta foto es una pasada. La página salió sola.

This photo is awesome! The background came up alone.

Más plumas y un pajarito troquelado. Las plumas dan un toque romántico, verdad?

More feathers and a die-cut bird. The feathers give a romantic touch, don't you think?

En esta foto con tonos apagados, la pareja tiene una pose muy romántica, así que se me ocurrió hacer algo más retro. Cartulina blanca decorada desde cero con una máscara y tuercas.

In this photo with brown colours, the couple has a romantic pose, so I decided to do something more retro. White cardboard decorated from zero with a mask and screws.

Página sencilla con bordes envejecidos, un par de marcos y washi tape.

Simple page with distressed borders, a pair of frames and washi tape.

Me encanta esta máscara. Lo notareis porque la uso en todos los álbumes que he hecho.

I love this mask. You can say because I use in every book I make.

Estos sellos también los compré en creativa Barcelona.

Son muy bonitos, pero me parecen imposibles de colorear, así que lo dejé tal cual.

I bought these stamps in Creativa Barcelona.

They are gorgeous, but I find them impossible to colour, so I left them white.

Dos páginas más simples con bolsillos.

La foto llenaba mucho, así que no quería llenar la página, pero me quedé un poco corto.

Two simple pages with pockets.

The photo is really crowded, so I didn't want to overdecorate the page, but I thing I underdecorated it.

Como este papel queda muy cargado, no le añadí ninguna decoración.

This paper was too decorated, so I left the page quite simple.

La portada trasera tiene unos detalles a la izquierda (no se aprecian muy bien) que coinciden con la portada delantera.

The back cover has some details on the left (it's hard to see). These details are the same as in the front cover.

Marco decorado

Hace un tiempo os comenté que estaba en una etapa de cambios.

Entre otros, he cambiado de trabajo. Bueno, uno de ellos. Ahora también estoy dando talleres de scrap.

El otro día, me pidieron que montase un taller para niños de entre 6 y 8 años y, después de mucho pensar, se me ocurrió hacer un layout como el que suele aparecer en las contraportadas de las colecciones de papeles que compramos. Pero en la tienda les pareció poco, así que hicimos lo mismo, pero montado sobre un marco.

La verdad es que estoy muy contento. Cuando las madres vinieron, se fueron muy sorprendidas de que sus hijas hubiesen hecho eso.

Siento la calidad de las fotos últimamente. Prometo que mejoraré un poco.

Esto es lo que hicimos:

Some weeks ago I told you I was changing some things in my life.

One of them is my job. Well, one of them. Now I'm also teaching scrap.

Last week, I was asked to prepare a scrap class for children between 6 and 8 years old and, after thinking a lot, the idea of preparing a layout like the ones we see in the back of the collections of paper we buy came up. But the people of the shop thought it wasn't enough, so we dedided to do the same mounted on a frame.

I'm really happy. When the mothers came, they were very surprised about what their daughters made.

I'm sorry about the quality of the pictures. I promse I'll Improve it.

This is what we made:

Pintamos el fondo con tintas en spray, recortamos algunos rectángulos de papel y aplicamos algunas decoraciones ya hechas (botones y flores  precortadas) y recortamos algunos banderines con la big shot.

Algo sencillo, pero muy resultón.

We painted the background with spray inks, cut some paper rectangles and applied some embelishments already made (buttons and pre-cut flowers) and cut some flags with the big shot.

Something simple, but very atttractive.

Hoy os pongo emocionado este enlace. Se trata de mi primer pedido internacional!
Una compañía inglesa de productos de belleza, a través del blog, se puso en contacto conmigo para que les hiciera 20 cajas para regalar sus productos a algunos de sus vendedores.
Querían algo simple y vistoso. Esta es la caja por la que al final se dicidieron:

Today I'm writing this post really happy. It's my first international order!
A British company that makes beauty products, asked me, through the blog, to do 20 boxes to give their products as gift to their sellers.
They wanted me to do something simple and attractive. This is the box they finally chose:

Como veis, se trata de otro bolso. Me voy a especializar en bolsos de papel... (snif)
La caja está adaptada a las medidas de sus productos y se pueden combinar 2 productos cualesquiera, que todas las combinaciones caben dentro.
Una vez dado el visto bueno, solo faltaba recibir el logo y hacer el resto de las cajas.
Aquí tenéis una foto con todas y algunas fotos con los detalles:

As you can see, it's another handbag. I'm getting specialised in paper handbags... (sigh)
The box is made thinking of the measurements of their products and can hold up to 2 produts, no matter which. All the combinations will fit in the box.
Once accepted, I just had to wait to receive the logo and make the rest of the boxes.

Esta opción es muy práctica para mandarla después en un paquete.

Tuve que pensar en todo.

This choice is practical so you can send them folded in a small package.

Como siempre, quería hacer algo más cargado, pero esto es lo que me sale. Y es lo que más se vende.

Para desquitarme un poco, hice una caja un pelín más decorada, pero sin pasarme para que no desentonara del resto. Esta es:

As always, I wanted to do something more decorated, but this is what I always get. And it's what I sell best.

To get even, I made a more decorated box, but not much so it isn't out of place. Here it is:

Sólo un poco de washi tape, tres mariposas y un borde diferente al resto.

Just a bit of washi tape, three buterflies and a different border.

Como ya habréis adivinado, la marca de cosméticos es TWELVE. Y han tenido un superdetallazo conmigo!

Supongo que vieron mi dirección en el remite del paquete y me han mandado dos de sus productos.

Yo no soy mucho de cremitas, pero tengo que reconocer que el limpiador facial que me han mandado va perfecto.

De verdad que me ha encantado trabajar con ellos. Me he quedado con muy buen sabor de boca.

As you may have guessed, the beauty products company is TWELVE. And they have been really thoughtful!

I think they saw my address in the package and sent me back a pair of their products.

I'm not really into creams and skin care, but I have to admit that their skin cleaner works wonders.

I'm really happy with working with them. They left me with a good taste in my mouth.

Tarjeta de Cumpleaños

Hola de Nuevo!

Lo se. Hace un montón que no actualizo el blog. Entre otros motivos, ahora no tengo internet en casa y se me hace difícil actualizarlo, pero tengo un montón de fotos pendientes de publicar, así que, en cuanto me ponga, tendréis ideas para aburrir.
El otro día hice una tarjeta de cumpleaños para la hija de unos amigos que cumplia 2 añitos.
Siempre que me pongo a hacer tarjetas, quiero hacer algo cargado y lleno de decoraciones, pero esto es lo que conseguí. Por supuesto, me gustó, por eso la dejé así:
