Tarjeta Infantil de Cumpleaños

Hola!
Solo unas palabras para mostraros una tarjeta que hice para el 11º cumpleaños de una niña.
Algo muy sencillito: Una tarjeta rosa, sobre ella pegué un trozo de cartulina blanca de forma que se viese un poco el borde, unas flores estampadas, un poquito de baker's twine rosa y la palabra "felicidades" en varios colores.
Perdón por el color tan oscuro en la foto. Estuve trasteando con la cámara y olvidé cambiar los ajustes.

Just a ferw words to show you the card I made for the 11th birthday of a girls.
Something really simple: A pink card, I glued a white cardboard so you can see the pink border, some stamped flowers, a bit of pink baker's twine and the word "Happy birthday" in different colours.
sorry for the dark colour of the picture. I was playing with the camera and forgot to restore the settings back.

Marco decorado

Hace un tiempo os comenté que estaba en una etapa de cambios.

Entre otros, he cambiado de trabajo. Bueno, uno de ellos. Ahora también estoy dando talleres de scrap.

El otro día, me pidieron que montase un taller para niños de entre 6 y 8 años y, después de mucho pensar, se me ocurrió hacer un layout como el que suele aparecer en las contraportadas de las colecciones de papeles que compramos. Pero en la tienda les pareció poco, así que hicimos lo mismo, pero montado sobre un marco.

La verdad es que estoy muy contento. Cuando las madres vinieron, se fueron muy sorprendidas de que sus hijas hubiesen hecho eso.

Siento la calidad de las fotos últimamente. Prometo que mejoraré un poco.

Esto es lo que hicimos:

Some weeks ago I told you I was changing some things in my life.

One of them is my job. Well, one of them. Now I'm also teaching scrap.

Last week, I was asked to prepare a scrap class for children between 6 and 8 years old and, after thinking a lot, the idea of preparing a layout like the ones we see in the back of the collections of paper we buy came up. But the people of the shop thought it wasn't enough, so we dedided to do the same mounted on a frame.

I'm really happy. When the mothers came, they were very surprised about what their daughters made.

I'm sorry about the quality of the pictures. I promse I'll Improve it.

This is what we made:

Pintamos el fondo con tintas en spray, recortamos algunos rectángulos de papel y aplicamos algunas decoraciones ya hechas (botones y flores  precortadas) y recortamos algunos banderines con la big shot.

Algo sencillo, pero muy resultón.

We painted the background with spray inks, cut some paper rectangles and applied some embelishments already made (buttons and pre-cut flowers) and cut some flags with the big shot.

Something simple, but very atttractive.

Libro de Firma para Comunión de Niña (Y no es Rosa!)

¿¡Os lo podéis creer!?

Mi primer libro de firmas para chica que no necesitaba ser rosa. Y me costó un montón de hacer! No sabía por donde empezar! Ha ha ha!

Para este libro tenía vía libre, así que decidí utilizar unas papeles que compré en la Feria Creativa Valencia con motivos florales en verde, azul y marrón. Me costó arrancar, pero después salió solo.

Y parece ser que lo acerté, porque cuando lo entregué, la madre de la niña me dijo que Marta ya había pasado la etapa del rosa.

Hay pocas fotos porque algunas me salieron muy borrosas (necesito un móbil nuevo), así que solo he puesto las que estaban decentes. Falta la segunda mitad. Lo siento.

Can you believe it!?

Mi first signature book for girl that didn't need to be pink. And it was really tough to do! I had no idea of how to start! Ha ha ha!

The theme for this book was free, so I decided to use some papers I bought in Creativa Fair in Valencia with floral motives in green, blue and brown. It was difficult at the beginning but, once started, it flowed.

And it seems I chose the colors correctly, because when I gave it to her mom, she told me that Marta didn't like pink anymore.

There are few pictures because some of them are blurry (I need a new mobile), so I only uploaded the decent ones. The second half is missing. Sorry.

Signature Book for Girl

Otro libro más de firmas. Y como no, en rosa!
Este es para una niña que tenia toda la decoración de las mesas, el pastel, las invitaciones... en rosa y morado con tema de princesas.
Me estaba quedando sin papeles rosa (ya os he comentado que he hecho un montón de libros rosa), así que lo intenté solucionar con papeles decorados morados y papeles lisos rosa o blancos estampados en rosa. La verdad es que me lo pasé bien haciendo este libro, porque estuve guarreando un poco con tintas, relieves, troqueles...

One more signature book. And also in pink!
This one is for a girl who had all de decorations for the tables, the cake, the invitations... in pink and purple with a princess theme.
I was running out of pink papers (I've already commented I've made a lot of pink books), so I tried to solve it with purple dessigner papers and plain pink paper or stamping in pink white paper. The truth is that I enjoyed doing this book, because I played a bit with inks, embossing, die-cuts...

Después de tomar la foto de la portada, añadí algunas flores en relieve en una esquina.

After taking a photo of the front cover, I added some 3D flowers in a corner.

Me gusta como ha quedado el doble estampado del lateral izquierdo.

I like how it looks the double stamped background on the left.

Me compré este sello a propósito para este libro. El fondo es tinta rosa sobre papel mojado.

I bought this stamp for this book. The background is pink ink on wet paper.

El sello de la izquierda es un castillo, por el rollo de princesas y eso (¬_¬)

Cada página para firmar es diferente con flores, mariposas y tintas rosas y moradas.

Each signable page is different, with flowers, butterflies and pink and purple inks. 

Libro de Firmas de Comunión + Invitación

Por fin lo terminé!

El otro día hice unas invitaciones de comunión y, cuando las recibieron, me pidieron algunas más (compromisos de última hora) y un libro de firmas a juego.

Es mi primer proyecto grande y la verdad es que estoy muy contento con él. No es mi estilo preferido, pero siguiendo las directrices de la invitación, creo que ha quedado elegante y fino.

Los que seguís varios blogs, notareis que para la portada me he inspirado en los trabajos de Tiz (que hace unos trabajos muy alegres y elegantes a la vez), y para las páginas de las firmas me ha inspirado un trabajo en concreto de Gema (Tiene algunas ideas muy originales).

Espero que os guste. A la destinataria le ha encantado.

En unos días os pongo el que estoy haciendo para un niño.

Estoy que no paro! (｡◕‿◕｡)

I finally finished it!

Last day I made some invitations for a communion and, when the mother got them, she asked me for some more (last time compromises) and a signature book.

It's my first big project and I'm really happy with it. I didn't used my preferred style, but following the guidelines of the invitation, I think I got an elegant and delicate work.

The ones of you who follow some blogs will note that Tiz's works (who makes at the same time both funny and elegant works) provided the inspirarion for the cover, and Gema (who has some very original ideas) inspired my pages for signatures.

I hope you like it. The recipient loved it.

In a few days I'll post some pictures of the signature book I'm making for a boy.

Miniálbum-Diario Primaveral para Chica

Hace un tiempo compré unos papeles por internet y cuando llegaron vi con horror que tenían purpurina. No sabía que hacer con ellos y como se acerca la primavera se me ocurrió hacer un mini pensando en una chica de colegio con estos papeles tan florales, así que decidí hacerlo tipo diario en lugar de mini álbum. Le pusé un montón de bolsillos, sobres, tarjetitas, etiquetas... Primero hice la estructura con los papeles brillantes (argh) y después intenté decorarlo con los mismos papeles, pero no me gustaba y acabé echando mano de unos papeles de Amy Tangerine y de colores básicos y la verdad es que al final me lo pasé genial haciéndolo y no me desagrada como ha quedado. Según iba haciéndolo, se me iban ocurriendo cosas: poner ojales de colores a las tarjetas, decorar algunos bordes como si estuviera cosido, decorar tarjetitas con sellitos de animales... Que disfruté como un enano, vamos!


Some weeks ago I bought some papers in the internet and, when they arrived, I saw with horror that they were all full of glitter. I didn't know what to do with them and, as spring is coming, it occur to me to do a minibook thinking of a school girl with these so floral papers, so I decided making it more like a diary instead of a mini album. I put a lot of pockets, envelopes, cards, tags...
First I made the structure with the glitter papers (argh) and then I tried to decorate it with the same papers, but I didn't really like it and I turned to some papers from Amy Tangerine and basic colours and the truth is that I ended having a lot of fun making the mini and I don't dislike how it looks. While I was making it, more ideas came into my mind: putting coloured eyelets on the cards, decorating some borders to imitate sewing, add some little animal stamps to another cards... in fact, I had a great time!
